UUL Design Notes is a new independent information publication operated by Grinto Media LLC. Independent design reading and planning tools. Not a design studio, retailer or continuation of a previous business at this address.
Articles explain practical observations and questions. Original illustrative drawings are not photographs, a portfolio, technical plans or evidence of a completed project. Hypothetical examples are not firsthand case studies. We do not claim professional credentials, testimonials, affiliation or a previous organisation’s history.
How to use these materials.
Start with the purpose of the exercise, then compare its assumptions with your own situation. A notebook can organise questions; it cannot certify performance, diagnose a problem or replace a qualified professional. Source links identify further reading, not endorsement or a guarantee that every linked page remains current.
There are no bookings, sales, accounts, applications or paid services on this website. It does not reproduce the former website’s images, articles, names or catalogue. Current rules, product specifications and professional judgments belong to their original responsible sources.
Browser storage and privacy.
The notebook saves only its fields in local storage on this browser when available. It does not send the entries to a server, create an account or sync another device. A save failure is shown with Retry saving. Export a plain-text file or print a copy before clearing browser data.
Do not enter confidential information or other people’s private details. Clearing browser data removes saved entries. This site loads no advertising or analytics scripts and offers no contact-submission form. Hosting and CDN providers may process technical request and security logs; external sites have their own privacy policies.
